Cowford Ball is a fabulous, Western-themed gala celebrating 29 years in Jacksonville, FL, where over 350 cowboys and cowgirls will come together for an evening of good ole’ western fun and philanthropy!

American Cancer Society’s 2024 Cowford Ball presented by Morgan & Morgan is Jacksonville’s premier Western-themed gala where over 350 cowboys and cowgirls will come together for an evening of good ole’ western fun and philanthropy!

Drawing its name from our city’s obscure beginning as a cattle crossing on the St. Johns River, the “CowFord” gala plays host to a range of denim-clad, boot-stomping patrons since 1995. The event began at the impetus of ACS volunteer, the late Dot Fischette. Although it is modeled after the American Cancer Society’s nationwide Cattle Barons’ Ball, Cowford Ball’s name is exclusive to Jacksonville.

This one-of-a-kind evening features great food and drink, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more.
